Town, Village or Borough Sign Package
We have made a number of town and village signs and are now offering a handy package to local councils to create their very own sign.
Each sign is an individually designed one off, created to capture the spirit of your location, and educate people about its history, nature and community – they bring together communities to create and are a source of civic pride!
Signs are lectern style and a maximum size of 800mm x 600mm so avoid planning regulations.
Our signs are made from sustainable cedar wood, treated with environmentally friendly ‘Osmo Oil’ which naturally bio-degrades in the environment. Osmo Oil which is repellent of solvents so helps prevent vandalism damage and has strong eco credentials. Good for both humans and wood: The sunflower, soya, linseed and thistle oil, the basis of our wood finishes as well as the waxes and pigments which Osmo uses are classed as food safe.
We are led by you on content, but it usually involves a map with a walk locally, and can also include; local sites of interest, local history, nature and wildlife trails…
Sign longevity stands at around 10 years, but if you care for your sign it could last longer, instructions for ongoing care will be provided.
